Amazing Commissioned Artwork!

I recently commissioned Jo to produce two unique pieces for my living room and kitchen/diner and I couldn’t be happier with the results!

The Paintings can be anything I want them to be!

Simply love the 2 paintings I have from JocastaArt – really love them! The vibrancy and movement of the acidic lime green, fuchsia pinks and gold of Jelly and Blancmange is both startling and compelling and could be anything I want it to be, from the surface of a boiling vat of sugar for making sweeties to something beautiful and botanical as seen beneath a microscope.

My second painting Wave on the Beach is a huge contrast in its tranquility and soft, almost monochromatic palette and stimulates a sense of peace and calm to the viewer. Wave on the Beach is the more conventional style of the two pictures while Jelly and Blancmange uses the complicated and tricky process of pouring art, which is bold, vivid and generates a huge sensation of movement.

Jo has used quality materials for the 2 paintings and they both have a superior finish. She loves experimenting with a riot of colours and materials, and her fabulous sense of colour and sheer enjoyment and enthusiasm for what she does is apparent in every one of her pictures.
